Roberts has some 16 years experience in assisting organisations
with their policy development and training needs in this area.
Having a policy, which states that individuals are valued and
everyone is treated with respect and dignity; where discrimination
and harassment will not be tolerated, does not mean that this
is what it is like to work in your organisation.
We work with managers, supervisors, employees and human resources
staff to ensure workplace behaviours are aligned with expected
standards of conduct in today's climate of rising discrimination
and harassment claims.
This is easy to say, but sometimes tricky to do. 'Common sense'
ways of behaving for some, can be 'insulting or patronising' for
others! Many areas covered under anti-discrimination legislation
are sensitive and difficult to deal with in the workplace.
